HISTORY

Braud Company was started in 1985 by Randy Braud. It was a very small business located in Geismar, offering welding supplies.  He soon realized that there was a need for a more complete supply business that could offer a variety of welding and industrial supplies with an emphasis on customer service. What he meant by Customer Service, is having delivery when you need it.

He realized that he could not provide this service and meet his potential by staying in the original building of 1500 sq. ft.  So he moved on to a 9000 sq. ft. office / warehouse located on River Road in Geismar.  He began building his Sales and Service Team to make his dream a reality.

Today, Braud Company (Braud Welding & Industrial Supply) has 20 employees, new vehicles and over 22,000 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space.  We also have a walk-in store and Will Call area.

Sadly, our president, Randy Braud, passed away on October 19, 2010.  He is tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him. Our President is Mrs. Ranette Newgard who is committed to ensuring that Braud Company continues to grow and serve the customers and community that have helped us to get to this point.

Tim Braud, our General Manager, works endlessly to ensure the smooth operation of the business, safety for his employees, satisfaction from our customers and vendors. He is dedicated and a true leader that is moving us toward the future.

Our warehouse is stocked with the everyday industrial supplies that contractors and maintenance rely on to get their jobs done efficiently and in a timely manner.

We have a dedicated staff that will work with you from the first phone call or email placing your order to obtaining the things you need, getting the items delivered to you as promptly as possible, all the way through to the billing of the invoices.

We deliver 24 / 7 365 days of the year. There is always someone on call to handle your every need. When those unexpected failures happen during the night or on weekends, we have someone to help you.

If we don’t have something you need, our Purchasing Agent and Sales Team will try their very best to find it for you.
